About The Event
Create a space that gives back—turn your yard into a sanctuary for pollinators and support a healthier ecosystem across Houston.
Join Bayou Preservation Association’s Resiliency At-Home Summer Workshop Series with our Pollinator Gardens Workshop—part of a three-part series designed to provide Houstonians with practical tools for creating more sustainable homes and resilient communities.
Led by Master Gardener Robin Kendrick Yates, this hands-on workshop will examine the vital role pollinators play in our ecosystems and how to design a garden that supports them. Learn how native plants, thoughtful design, and simple practices can attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial species while improving the health of our bayous.
Participants will gain hands-on experience building a bee/pollinator hotel and leave with practical tips to start their own pollinator-friendly garden at home.
This is the final workshop in our three-part free Saturday series (June–August), each exploring a different aspect of holistic water sustainability. All events…
