About The Event
Do you have an interest and passion for water quality? Do you want to hear and share the issues impacting your local waterways? Do you have expertise or interest in providing input for our water quality projects? Then join our Eyes on the Bayou Committee!
The purpose of the Eyes on the Bayou Committee is to help guide the implementation of our Bayou Citizen Science Program goals: implementing Watershed Based Plans, improving waterways through riparian restoration and water quality monitoring, and increasing support for nature-based solutions.
The committee is looking for interested members from all backgrounds with a passion on improving our local waterways! If you have any questions or would like to learn more, please contact Grant Moss at gmoss@bayoupreservation.org.
Our next meeting is scheduled for April 10th:
Join us for Guest Speaker Kristen DeBone from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)’s Non-Point Source (NPS) Grant Funding program! She will cover the Clean Water Act Section 319 Grant Program including solicitation process, eligibility, funding, types or projects, and examples of funded projects!
