Join Galveston Bay Foundation for their August Rain Barrel Workshop!
Learn how to save water, protect the bay, and set up your own rain barrel at this hands-on workshop with the Galveston Bay Foundation team.
The event begins with supply pickup from 1 PM to 3 PM for those who pre-purchase a rain barrel and kit. At 1:30 PM, GBF staff will lead a live presentation covering:
• Water conservation tools like Water My Yard
• Environmental benefits of collecting rainwater and reducing freshwater use
• Rain barrel preparation, installation, and maintenance tips
