About The Event

Guided Tour at Mason Park Wetland

Join us on Saturday, January 18, 2025, for a 90-minute guided walk to explore the natural beauty of Mason Park Wetland, right in the heart of Houston. Hosted by the Bayou Preservation Association, this event is designed to introduce everyday Houstonians to the thriving wildlife and ecosystems that exist within our urban environment.

Led by Morton Sager, Nationally Certified Interpretive Guide, the tour will provide fascinating insights into the wetlands' unique flora and fauna. You’ll learn how these natural spaces are vital to our city's ecological balance, offering both beauty and practical solutions to flooding and conservation challenges.

After the walk, we’ll host a live Q&A session, giving you a chance to engage with our expert and ask questions about everything you’ve seen. Light refreshments and networking will follow, offering an opportunity to connect with others who share a passion for Houston's natural landscapes.
