Two Areas to Clean Up
We will be focusing on two separate sections of the park to pick up litter and debris. Section One will be along the Yellowbird Bike Trails in the Northern Section of the Park and Preserve. This section will be easier to walk and work.
The Second Section will be in the lower half of the park along the banks of Big Gulch and the adjoining paths. This section includes unpaved, elevated, and rugged terrain.
Why It Matters
Our bayou and park are a treasure trove of natural beauty, providing us with clean air, recreational opportunities, and a habitat for wildlife. Your involvement will not only keep our park clean and beautiful, but also strengthen the bonds within our community. As a token of our appreciation, we will have small gift bags, invasive species guides, and native seeds waiting for our amazing volunteers.
What to Bring:
- Long sleeve shirt and pants that can get dirty.
- Closed-toe shoes.
- A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
- Sunscreen and Bug Spray
