About The Event

Empower yourself and your community this summer with Bayou Preservation Association's Community Resiliency Workshops! Through a series of engaging, hands-on sessions held on the third Saturday of June, July, and August, you'll gain the knowledge and skills to implement nature-based solutions that benefit both your neighborhood and Houston's vital bayou systems.

Each workshop will cover a different topic related to green stormwater infrastructure, water management, and environmental sustainability. And the best part? You'll get to put your new skills into practice with hands-on activities and take home a kit at no cost to get you started.

Pollinator Gardens Workshop - June 15th

Transform your yard into a haven for pollinators! Join us on June 15th for the first installment of Bayou Preservation Association's Resiliency at Home workshop. Learn about the vital role pollinators play in our ecosystem and discover how to create your very own pollinator garden. Get hands-on experience building a bee house and take home a kit at no cost to kickstart your garden project. Together, let's cultivate spaces that support biodiversity and ensure a vibrant future for Houston's bayou systems.
